Dr. Xiaoling Shu's research, entitled "Tea or Coffee? Globalization and Changes in Beverage Consumption in China" analyzes changes in Chinese people's food and drink habits and lifestyles in the wake of vast expansion of global food and beverage chains such as Starbucks, McDonalds, KFCs, and Pizza Huts in China.
