Club Board Members

Sidra Habibi is a third year student studying Sustainable Environmental Design with minors in Middle East and South Asian Studies and GIS. She grew up surrounded by Moroccan culture, where drinking tea is a big part of everyday life. She enjoys all kinds of tea, but her favorites are Moroccan mint tea and Earl Grey tea. Other than tea she enjoys needle point, gardening, cooking, and hanging out with her friends and family.

Cas Holman is a second year economics student. In addition to drinking tea, she loves solving puzzles, playing video games, and writing stories. Her favorite variety of tea is tieguanyin. She can also often be found making a large pot of jasmine green tea for her friends!

Sydney Kubik is a third year student studying Food Science.  She enjoys drinking a variety of teas, with her favorite being Peach Oolong. She loves learning about the science behind the fermentation of teas. One of her favorite pastimes is visiting different tea houses and tea gardens.

Sam Herzig is a fourth year student studying art history and plant biology with a minor in German. When she’s not researching in the Zerbe lab or walking backwards as a Campus Tour Guide, you can often find her brewing tea in the gong fu style for herself and friends. She loves all sorts of tea, but especially dancong oolong from the Phoenix Mountains in China.
